Tackling Terrorism, Cross Border Crime and Violent Radicalisation

The fight against terrorism and all forms of organised cross-border crime is one of the greatest challenges facing the European Union today. This cannot be solved at national level alone. The best way to guarantee the right of citizens to live in freedom and security is for EU countries to work more closely together on Justice and Home Affairs issues and where possible, to tackle the root causes of terrorism.
